Many beginning bodybuilders make the mistake of thinking all they have to do is lift heavy weights. And so they join a gym and try to lift more weight than anyone else and often end up hurting themselves and feeling a bit foolish in the process.

Others just starting out may skip cardio all together. This is a big mistake especially when you have some excess body fat to burn. It’s the combination of strength training and cardiovascular activity, especially performed in intervals, that really sets your fat burning furnace on fire.
