Everybody knows that exercise is the only way that we can stay fit and healthy but very few people actually enjoy the thought of going to the gym at 6am or straight after work. However, if you find an exercise routine that you enjoy doing, you can have fun whilst getting fitter.

1. Hoofing It: Walking and/or running are two of the most popular activities for all ages, especially since walking is something most of us “have” to do, and since neither requires any special equipment. On top of that, walking is good for people of all ages and even those who have cardiac issues because it is a gentle way to exercise your heart. Plus it is an exercise which you can do anywhere inside and outside. Although there is a bigger impact on your heart and joints, running will burn double the calories that walking does. And for those already off to a running start, make sure you invest in the best shoes you can afford and that your shoe is comfortable and properly fits.

2. On Your Bike: Biking is a great way to exercise whether you choose to do it on a stationers cycle or a mountain bike. Mountain bike finance is a great way to help you pay for a new bike if you need one and you can think of it like a gym membership.

3. Stroke Your Ego: Doing the stroke or swimming is one of the best exercises for the entire body building not only muscle but physical endurance as well. Getting started with aqua aerobics is a great way you can start to shift some weight without putting too much pressure on your joints.

4. Get A Spring In Your Step: You can use a skipping rope to get healthy almost anywhere. You will find that you become more coordinated if you use a jump rope as well as toning up. However it can be tough on your knees, ankles and leg muscles.

These are some easy ways to incorporate exercise into your spare time.
