Very few people would say that pharmaceuticals affect our life in a major way. However, from birth to death we rely on medicines in one way or another. There is no age limit to who will use pharmaceuticals be it babies, teenagers or the elderly. FDA Compliance ensures that the drugs we take are as safe as possible.

Many people’s daily lives are affected by pharmaceuticals. And hence their rising costs are destined to be our major concern. You cannot ignore your need for medicines no matter how much they damage your finances. If a person is suffering from a certain disease and the doctor prescribes him a medicine, he must purchase it whether it suits his pocket or not. There needs to be some regulation over the cost of medicines so that patients are not getting ripped off. At the moment some companies are charging extraordinary prices for their medicines.

Big pharmaceutical players in the market also pay much attention to research and development of new medications. R & D uses up millions of pounds of a company’s money every year. Businesses want to find a drug which can cure many ailments. However the FDA or regulatory authority must pass any drug before it enters the market. FDA Compliance has to be reached by any new medicines before they are given to patients and this includes during research, development and production. A drug can only be sold to the public once it has passed the compliance regulations.

Before drugs are even assessed by the FDA they are put through animal and human tests. These tests confirm the effectiveness of the medicine and makes sure that the invented drug does not have any serious side effects. All this research work is necessary so that the ultimate consumer gets nothing but the best.

The pharmaceutical industry is massively competitive and continues to be so as the medicines market grows. So that drugs cannot be marketed in such a way that they damage their competitors, the marketing of drugs is also controlled by the FDA.
