Attention all moms! If you are short on time and what to drop a few pounds, you may want to consider home exercise videos online that get you moving and make you sweat. For me, a good sweaty workout that gets me moving is the best for making me feel better and helping me loose weight. Workouts like Low Impact, or Dance Aerobics or Spinning are by nature just more fun than a treadmill or a stair climber. Yes, your day is full of tasks and appointments for other people, but why not make 20 minutes of your day about feeling like a woman. And by taking even just 10 minutes to move your body and work up a sweat, your body and mind will repay you with more energy and less stress.

All too often we have the best of intentions when it comes to exercise, we plan, we dream, we prepare – but all too often, we do not execute the actual workout. Guess what, you can have fun, successful and sweaty workouts even if you are pressed for time, you really can have that amazing feeling when you really get into a workout and you feel invigorated. For starters, pick a workout that focuses on moving your body and making you sweat a bit – any type of cardiovascular activity will do this for you. Low or High Impact Aerobics, Step Aerobics or Cardio Dancing may be really fun for you if you enjoy challenging your mind with choreography while you work up a sweat. Another option, if you don’t like fancy choreography would be Kickboxing or maybe even a workout video that uses weights or bands in intervals with simple moves like jumping jacks or squat jumps. Or how about taking the kids out for a walk and making a game out of it – challenging both yourself and your kids to various tasks as you walk through your neighborhood.

Here’s the bottom line: getting your body moving with a cardiovascular workout is your best solution to feeling tired and worn out, getting sweaty will actually clear your head and allow you to think more clearly. And since your kids watch every thing that you do, you are not only getting healthier, but you are acting as a role model to your kids so that they can also enjoy all the wonderful benefits of a strong, healthy body. Take this unique opportunity that you have with your family, teach them through your behavior that exercise can easily become something you do everyday, just like brushing your teeth or taking a bath. Ok, it’s time, find a few exercise videos that you can really get into, you’re kids will thank you for leading by example when they grow up to be strong, healthy and fit adults.
