It is vital for you to identify the elements resulting in tension headache symptoms,if you are to successfully reduce the severity of these headaches. One of the main triggers of tension headache symptoms are known to be stress, both physical and emotional. The best way to fight stress would be to get yourself more sleep at night. Usually tension headaches can be dealt with by taking pain relievers such as ibuprofen or aspirin, which do not require a prescription. If the headache worsens however, you would want to consider visiting your doctor who would then prescribe something stronger, such as anti-anxiety or antidepressant drugs.
