Workout Motivation - Why Do Some Have It And Others Never Get It?

If you’re struggling to build the body you want, workout motivation is something to consider as a possible roadblock to your success. Now, it’s not a problem for everyone but it does seem to derail the hope and dreams of quite a few people. Could motivation be holding back your muscle building efforts?

Here are a few questions to ask yourself to see if you suffer from a lack of workout motivation:

1. Do you have trouble getting to the gym on the days you originally planned to go?

2. Once you get to the gym (on the days you manage to get yourself there), do you fully complete your planned workout?

3. Do you resist lifting heavier weights even though your current resistance has become comfortable for you?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, your motivation may need a tune up. But that can be easier said than done… how can you get yourself motivated?

First, it’s important to understand why you want to build muscle in the first place. The reason must be personal and meaningful to you - not to someone else. Once you find your reason for training, if it’s something that’s truly important to you, motivation won’t be such a problem.

Once you find that motivation, you’ll be able to build muscle fast by following an effective muscle building program. When that happens, you’ll be unstoppable.
